My hometown is in Mexico, Valle de Bravo; a beautiful valley surrounded by mountains. Growing up, I was constantly exposed to Valle’s fresh air, natural greenery and its healthy community. My childhood revolved around my mother’s personal creations such as baking bread and making butter and fruity jams – I could go on forever. Nevertheless, my personal favourites were her fresh yogurts and mouth-watering salads, with the ingredients taken from the garden. Some of my best memories derive from the times when my grandparents would practice yoga, meditate and sunbathe in the garden. Being so well versed in nature and its fresh ingredients, I developed a strong passion for possessing a healthy lifestyle and, of course for food itself, discovering a wide variety of flavours as well as the unique fresh elements of whole foods.
Today, I am a working mother of two teens and my appetite for sharing the benefits of a healthy and balanced lifestyle is what drives me to encourage others to maintain both a nutritious regime and an active, dynamic life.
As a Holistic Nutritionist, I believe that the imbalances in our body and mind sporadically show up in the form of symptoms such as headaches, insomnia, water retention (aka being bloated), and inflammation – the list goes on. My principal healing implementations are the intake of water; single-ingredient foods; sufficient sleep; relaxation techniques; dynamic, motivated movement; and a deep review of aspects of life such as relationships, careers and self-esteem.
My approach to weight management is bio-individual; I don’t believe in “diets”, food deprivation or calorie counting. I simply help my clients to develop a rich and nourishing relationship with food and a vigorous approach to exercise, in order to manage stress and become slightly more energized within their busy lives.

In 2009, I obtained a B.Sc. & M.Sc. in Holistic Nutrition from Clayton College of Natural Health.
I received my training as a Health Coach from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition’s cutting-edge Health Coach Training Program.
During my training, I studied over 100 dietary theories, practical lifestyle management techniques, and innovative coaching methods with some of the world’s top health and wellness experts. My teachers included Dr. Andrew Weil, Director of the Arizona Center for Integrative Medicine; Dr. Deepak Chopra, leader in the field of mind-body medicine; Dr. David Katz, Director of Yale University’s Prevention Research Center; Dr. Walter Willett, Chair of Nutrition at Harvard University; Geneen Roth, bestselling author and expert on emotional eating; and many other leading researchers and nutrition authorities.
My education has equipped me with extensive knowledge in holistic nutrition, health coaching, and preventive health. Drawing on these skills and my knowledge of different dietary theories, I work with clients to help them make lifestyle changes that produce real and lasting results.
